-Making a shopping list by drawing the products
-During shopping, children can help put the right products in the basket
-Sorting the toys by colours/shapes/materials
-Hide little things like stickers around the shelves and let them find them while dusting
-Help your child write or draw a weekly menu for the family
-Set a timer on for tidying their toys to make them realise that they can do it in 10 min or less
-Just put on good music or sing while moping or swiping
-Make a chart, but make sure that you change or you switch between chores, for it not to get to boring
-Make chores look like a competition between you and your child, or between the siblings
-Bake or cook with them, but only if they promise to clean up afterwards. Baking is really fun on its own, but the mess which stays after can be a bit overwhelming
-Make homemade play-dough together
-If you have to do something which takes up a lot of time, tell stories in the meantime
